4. Goal.com writes :
"Roma failed to reclaim top spot in Serie A as their winless run was stretched to three games with a 0-0 home draw against Cagliari."

5. Foxsports.com writes

"Cagliari holds Roma to costly draw."

Roma was held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Cagliari on Monday and failed to reclaim the Serie A lead from Juventus despite remaining unbeaten.

It was Roma's third consecutive draw after opening the season with 10 straight wins.
Still without injured captain Francesco Totti, Roma moved within one point of Juve, which won 2-0 at Livorno on Sunday.

''Our goal at the start of the season was to reach the Champions League and we're still seven points ahead of fourth place,'' Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi said. ''That said, we'll of course try to get the lead back.''

Despite dominating for long stretches, the closest Roma came to scoring came when Gervinho hit the post with a header in the 38th minute at the Stadio Olimpico.

Having grown frustrated by his squad's inability to score, Roma coach Rudi Garcia was sent off for protests in the 72nd and watched the end of the match from the stands.
Cagliari moved level with struggling AC Milan in 13th place.
The match was moved to Monday to let the pitch recover from Saturday's Italy-Argentina rugby test.

Roma dominated the first half but couldn't quite find the target.
Gervinho, Maicon, Kevin Strootman and Dodo each had chances in the opening 10 minutes.
In the 39th, Strootman collected a pass behind the defense and had only the goalkeeper to beat but Cagliari `keeper Vlada Avramov saved his shot by the near post.

Cagliari threatened with a header from Victor Ibarbo in the 34th but Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis made a diving save.

Roma again took the initiative after halftime but Avramov made a spectacular save on a long shot from Maicon in the 51st.

A header from Cagliari forward Marco Sau found the net but was waved off for offside in the 54th.

Roma defender Mehdi Benatia limped off with an apparent injury in the final minutes and Avramov preserved the draw by stopping a close-range header from De Rossi in added time.
Avramov ''was the best player on the pitch,'' De Rossi said.

A minute of silence was observed before the match in memory of the victims of recent flooding in Sardinia, and Roma wore black armbands in memory of Amedeo Amadei, the center forward of the Giallorossi squad that won the 1942 Serie A title. Amadei died Sunday at age 92.

NASA Spacecraft Finds Bounty of Alien Planets, Including 104 Potentially Habitable Worlds

The search for other Earth-like planets in the galaxy got a major boost today (Nov. 4) with the discovery of hundreds of newfound alien planets identified by NASA's Kepler spacecraft, a haul that includes 104 strange, new worlds that could potentially support life.
Scientists with NASA's planet-hunting Kepler mission announced the discovery of 833 new planet candidates during a press conference today, bringing the total number of candidate worlds to 3,538. Of the 104 planets in the habitable zone, 10 of them are about the size of Earth, scientists say.

"We're opening a new era of exploration of our galaxy," said William Borucki, Kepler science principal investigator at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif., where scientists are discussing the latest exoplanet discoveries during the second Kepler Science Conference this week. [7 Ways to Discover Alien Planets

The mission of the Kepler spacecraft, launched in 2009, is to determine what fraction of stars in the Milky Way harbor Earth-size planets orbiting in the habitable zone. As of today, scientists are on the brink of answering that question.
The Kepler telescope spent the past four years staring at a patch of sky in the constellation Cygnus, looking for minuscule dips in the brightness of stars that signify a planet crossing in front of, or transiting, their star.
The search has turned up a cornucopia of bizarre worlds, including "hot Jupiters" that orbit very close to their host stars; icy Neptune-like worlds; and large rocky "super-Earths."
Scientists announced the first confirmed planet in a habitable zone, Kepler 22-b, at the first Kepler Science Conference two years ago. Research now suggests that most stars in the galaxy have at least one planet.
Kepler stopped taking data May 11, when it suffered a failure of the second of four reaction wheels used to point the spacecraft. But Kepler hasn't quit kicking yet. Scientists will continue to mine the vast stores of Kepler's star brightness data — freely available online — to look for new planets.
"There's a full year of data yet to be analyzed," Borucki said, adding that he expects scientists will find more of the smallest planets at longer Earth-like orbits.
An independent analysis of Kepler's data found that one in five sunlike stars harbors an Earth-size planet in the habitable zone.
Just last week, scientists announced the discovery of the first Earth-size rocky planet, Kepler-78b. However, the planet, which whips around its star once every 8.5 hours, has a blazing surface temperature of about 3,680 degrees Fahrenheit (2,027 degrees Celsius) — far too hot for life as we know it.
Other rocky planets found by Kepler include Kepler-10b and Kepler-36b

No true Earth analogues — Earth-size planets with Earth-length years in the habitable zone around sunlike stars — have yet been found, but Kepler scientists are optimistic.
"The trend of finding Earth-like planets is likely to continue," said research scientist Jason Rowe of the SETI Institute, in Mountain View, Calif.

Again.... "ITALIA VS SPAIN" in UEFA Champions League

Welcome back to the best european football competition, UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2013-2014. "Home of Champions"

First of all, Ill talk about the local leagues in europe. Somebody get bored from the local soccer competition? No, This season might be the best 'war' within these best european leagues : Premiere League, Serie A, La Liga & Bundesliga + Ligue 1 in France. Most of them are now trending worlwide, In england : Arsenal leading ahead of the giants such Manchesters, Liverpool & Chelsea. In Italia : The capital AS.Roma still unbeatable and stands at the top of serieA table, followed by Napoli & Juventus which run after them. In Germany, No body doubt of the quality from Pep Guardiola's Bayern, But Dortmund :). I may prefer to look at the Ligue 1 this season. They are now having 2 Big teams within PSG & Monaco, It's more interesting i think if comparring with their last seasons competition.

Now, Let;s close the local league book, and open the next chapter of : UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Matchday 4.  I pay more attention to the Group B & H. You know why ?? As the subjected above : It's The war again and again between ITALIA vs SPAIN. Never bored right ?
Yeps, Both teams are one of the most waited match in the world. But this matchday 4 IS NOT about the national team, They are Barcelona & Real Madrid (SPAIN) vs Ac Milan & Juventus (ITALY).

1. JUVENTUS vs REAL MADRID

After losing at the last match, Juve is now left far from the leader Madrid & also Galatasaray in Group B. Never win : 2 Draw & 1 Lost from last 3 matches. What an unlucky Bianconneri, while They were favourited by some football analysts to win the UCL this season. Hhhmm,,
Ok, taken from the www.eurocuphistory.com shows that from 1995/96 in Champions league IF juve played at Home againts El Real, They always won 4x as a host, and the won also 4 times. Really good statistics. In addition, The 1st match which held in Madrid, Juve lost 1-2 controversially from The spanish. From the penalty and Cristiano Ronaldo's dramatic acting from Chiellini's challenge :). So today's match at Juventus stadium will be 'crucial' and high tension esspecially for The bianconneri.
"Juventus v Real Madrid is a classic," said Antonio Conte, the Bianconeri coach, as he looked ahead to Today's "crucial" Group B fixture with the nine-time European champions.

Antonio Conte, coach of Juventus
It's a crucial game and important for our future in the Champions League. We're very much looking forward to it. We've got to show on the field, as we did in Madrid, that we deserve to go through, otherwise we will be the first to kneel down and applaud those who make it through at our expense.
Certainly, they have an extraordinary attack. I would call them devastating, especially if they are allowed to play the game they prefer. Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Ángel Di María, to name but a few, are extraordinary – fantastic when they have the field in front of them and space to exploit, so we've got to be careful.
It's an incredibly hard game against one of the top candidates to win the Champions League. Juventus v Real Madrid is a classic, a very intriguing game. We need our fans both in the positive and not so positive moments because we're up against a strong team and there will be times when we're going to be up against it.

Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid
Conte has done an extraordinary job. He is working at a club which he feels particularly strongly about and in these three years, he's done more than anybody could have possibly imagined, winning the title twice. He's got a very competitive side.
We need to rotate our team to have the freshest players on the field, with the most physical strength, and I don't think rotating is a problem although sometimes we lose our balance as a result and we need to improve this. It's going to be an interesting game. Juve have more difficulties than us in the group – this is a chance for us to seal qualification and the sooner you get that, the better.
We've been conceding too many goals and this is our problem. Everybody in the world knows how important the defensive work is, but we've scored 42 goals in 15 games, with an average of three goals a game. I think the three attackers I have are very interesting. [Raphaël] Varane will play tomorrow because he didn't play on Saturday and will be fresh, then I'll choose between [Sergio] Ramos and Pepe to partner him.
[Xabi Alonso and Andrea Pirlo] are great players, both very fast and intelligent. I've been lucky to have worked for clubs with players like these. I've been lucky to have Pirlo at Milan and now I'm very lucky to have Alonso.

So, Let's just wait this 2 Italian coaches tactical games on the field tonight. DON'T MISS IT !!!

2. BARCELONA VS AC MILAN

Do you know where is Milan at the Serie A table ??? Hhehe ... Dont answer this question as im afraid some Milanisti will kill me :). So let's talk about today's match when The italian side goes to spain againts The european giant BARCELONA !!!
Milan visiting a stadium where their UEFA Champions League ambitions were extinguished by defeats in each of the last two seasons. Are they possible to win at camp nou ??
As if Barca win this game, They will increase the gap as a leader at the Group H.

• The clubs also met in that season's group stage, Barcelona taking four points to consign Milan to second place. At the Camp Nou it finished 2-2, Thiago Silva (92) scoring Milan's equaliser after Pedro Rodríguez and Villa had overturned Pato's first-minute goal.
