As it's known, the Young Garuda squad to qualify for the finals after conquering the Malaysian U-23 by a penalty shootout final score of 5-4 at the Stadium Zayyarthiri,
Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, Thursday (19/12).
In the final match, the U-23 national team will again meet Thailand in the semi-final 1-0 win over Singapore. Previously, in the preliminary round Group B, U-23 national team 1-4 defeat of Thailand. Final match itself will be held at the same venue on Saturday (21/12) later.
The President wrote on His twitter account :
"Congratulation for The Indonesian U-23 National team's victory in the semi-final of Sea Games 2013".
Another praise is also given by The Malaysian national team coach, Ong Kim Swe :
He commended the performance of Indonesia was great and The Coach Rahman Darmawan squad was better than His team.
"Indonesian is a good team, I think They can be the champion of this tournament." Said Ong after the match.
On the other match, Thailand qualified for the final after semi-final winning againts the Singapore national team by a score of 1-0. Thus Thailand and Indonesia will play back equally from Group B.
To face the Thailand, It's not easy case for the young Garuda Team. This happens because previously in the preliminary round had to give up with a score that is final is 1-4.
I think on the final later, There will be a though game between this two national teams. Moreover, Indonesia should take this chance as a revenge from the previous defeat. We must be at a very good form to beat a great and competitive team like Thailand.
However, Still believe that The Young Garuda will turn back the result with a victory in the final on Saturday (21/12) later.
